Pixie haircuts have just recently come back into style. While they may not be the best choice for someone who is used to and loves long hair, they can also be very, very liberating. Well, you need to know that most pixie cuts are short enough to be a boy's cut and are considered by many to be boy's cuts. What you may not realize is that they are specifically are for girls. Also, you need to remember that pixie cuts are very short on the sides and in the back while they are a tiny bit longer at the crown. This means that you can spike them up or even part them if you like. However, if you get cold easily, then you should probably choose to either have your hair cut during the summer or opt out completely. Pixie cuts are great for those who want to show off a tough, yet still very much feminine side. It is up to you how you choose to do this. Accessories are not out of reach when it comes to pixie cuts. You can still use them just as effectively as you can with any other hairstyles, longer or otherwise. One thing to remember about pixie cuts is that they absolutely have to be kept up with. You cannot simply cut your hair and then expect it to magically stop growing and look neat forever. However, the upkeep of a shorter haircut may be more than some are willing to spend. It is up to you if you are ready to deal with this.
