Inverted Bob Haircut Styles - Summer Fall 2009 Short Hair
A lot has been said about the recent revival of the bob with many modern bob haircuts being worn by trendy and modern women. The inverted bob hairstyle is a reinvention of the classic bob and is among the more popular bob hairstyles today.
Inverted Bob Haircut Styles - Kelly Clarkson and Paris Hilton
The inverted bob hairstyle was modified from the classic bob to accommodate the changes of modern life. It has been made more popular with celebrities such as Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna and Victoria Beckham. Victoria Beckham, or Posh Spice even managed to create her own identity in the inverted bob hairstyle with her own “Victoria Beckham Bob” or also commonly referred to as The “Posh Bob” or “Pob”.
In general, the inverted bob is a bob hairstyle that is tapered at the neck. It is also left to dangle long towards the face area. This will result in a asymmetrical shape being created and therefore, sometimes also called the asymmetrical bob for that reason. The inverted bob hairstyle can feature layers and also fringes that are cut straight across for more effect.
The best thing about the Inverted Bob Hairstyle is it can be worn with many variations to it. You can wear it long or short, straight, wavy or curly. The styling possibilities for the inverted bob hairstyle is also endless with the right techniques and tools. The inverted bob hairstyle is sometimes known as the wedged; stacked or concave bob.
The inverted bob is definitely one of the more popular modern bob hairstyles there is and made more popular by the celebrities who wear them.

Modern Short Bob Haircuts - Summer Fall 2009
Are you a fashion-conscious person and find yourself constantly seeking new ways to style yourself? If so, you might want to consider having a modern bob haircut. With the right kind of haircut, you can look stylishly attractive in every occasion.
Modern Short Bob Haircuts
The Asymmetrical bob hairstyles is a modern bob haircut that is striking. Having mentioned that, not many dare wear it because it is definitely something that is different. It is versatile and can be created with either a short or long layered bob. Generally, one side of the hair will be longer compared to the other. In addition to this, a large portion of the hair is purposely cut at irregular lengths to add more edginess to it. The modern bob haircut can be tricky and the result will largely depend on the hairstylist. However, when done correctly, the effects are simply stunning! Simply look at celebrities who don the asymmetrical bob haircut; Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, Natasha Bedingfield and Paris Hilton are among the few who have been seen wearing the haircut with great effects!
Modern Short Bob Haircuts
You can also go for the short, nose-length bob that is cut just below the earlobe. In addition to this, you can add long blunt bangs that is cut just above your eyebrows for added effect. While it is true that the nose-length bob is short, it allows for a lot of natural hair movement. It can accentuate your face features well if cut correctly. If you do not want long bangs, go for a short, uneven wispy fringe/bang.

Choosing Short Prom Hairdo
Choosing Short Prom Hairstyle - Summer Fall 2009 Hair Edition
If you are thinking about choosing one of the short prom hairstyles for your special night, be sure you keep this in mind as you shop for your dress. There are several haircuts that bring out the best in a short prom hairstyle and make you look fantastic.
The layer, textured cut is a great example of a cute short prom hairstyle that has plenty of movement, cut just shy of the length of a short bob. This hairstyle is more flexible than shorter cuts making it very popular. It focuses attention on the face and with swept bangs; it brings a sparkle to your prom night.
The problem with the pixie cut as a short prom hairstyle is that the “boy cut,” look is out of sync with formal attire that is traditional on prom night. This is the one night where most girls want to look 100% female. You can make the pixie cut work for you if you want your facial area prominently on display, with a side-swept fringe for added impact.
If you are considering coloring your hair, be sure to choose a shade that will complement your dress as well as your skin tone. Selecting the right short prom hairstyle for your facial shape is important, but to keep it looking great you will need to visit the salon for regular trims. Otherwise, if you let your hair grow more than a half an inch, the haircut will look different and may be not in a positive way.

In Between Hairstyles
In Between Hairstyles - Summer Fall 2009 Short Hair Edition
For those who have ever had a bad haircut you wish you never got, there are many ways of dealing with the style until your hair grows back out. Here are a few ideas on how to make that style work for you until it gains some length.
In Between Hairstyles
Bobby pins and barrettes will hold short hair away from the face when waiting on a bob or a pixie cut to grow out. Simply sweep the short bits of hair into pins away from the face to make the illusion of having more hair in sparse areas. Combs for the medium-short hair can be used to create the appearance of more height and body, while minimizing the sparsest of the actual hair.
Weaves are commonly looked down on and got a bad reputation in the early 90’s. Weaves can be used when the wait for hair to re-grow is too long for comfort, and there are many ways of attaching them. When they were first invented, the only way of attaching them was by gluing them to the scalp for a painfully fake look. Now, there are many ways to attach as well as different styles and colors. Human hair is used for newer weaves, and can be dyed, cut, washed and treated as you would your own hair. Don’t attempt to create a look with weaves at home. Your professional stylist should always be sought for this type of fix, as it is time consuming and very hard work to complete correctly.

Short Summer Haircuts and Styling
Short Summer Haircuts and Styling
Sometimes women with short hair think that they are limited to the types of hairstyles they can achieve. This is true to an extent, because some styles do not look great in short hair. But here are a few styles that look fantastic and are easy to create with a little work and time.
Cornrows are widely known to be easily created in short hair. This can be a hairstyle on its own, or it can be used to braid in extensions or sections of longer hair to create a longer style. Extensions are made of human hair, and can be treated as you treat your own hair. They can be dyed, cut, curled or blow dried regardless of the method used to put them in place. Extensions do not grow, but can be replaced when your hair outgrows them.
Flips, or the outer edges of your hair framing the face can be achieved using a hot curling iron, or a round brush and your blow dryer. After parting and styling your hair as you normally would, start with the ends of hair closest to your face and place the hair beneath the brush. Curl the brush towards your face, and blow dry at the same time. This will make the hair curl upwards and creates a great affect for all short hair types. Using a curling iron for this style, simply place the locking arm of the curling iron on top of the hair, and curl the iron towards your face. When released, the hair will naturally curl towards your face, and up towards the sun to create a fantastic look.

Short Men’s Haircuts
Short Men’s Hairstyles - Summer Fall 2009 Short Hair Edition
Short men’s hairstyles may be coming back into the public eye with a new twist. The old page boy haircut is no longer the only style acceptable for stars in the spotlight. Here are a few ideas on how to get great short styles at home.
Tom Cruise & Josh Duhamel Both Wear Shorter Haircuts
Josh Duhamel wears a short and snazzy style that takes about 10 minutes to complete for the on-the-go man. To start, make sure the hair is damp and massage wax or gel between your palms. Gently distribute the wax or gel along the hair on top and in the back of the head evenly. Using a comb, briskly comb through the locks to ensure distribution. Now using the fingertips only, tousle the hair quickly from side to side in the front. Pull down a small bit of hair from the front and then massage it between the thumb and forefinger. Do this in intervals about 2 inches apart on the entire head. This will create the impression of ‘I just got out of bed’, and that wild look that so many women love.
Tom Cruise has always been known for his fantastic hair days. This is no different, and the short straight look is very easy to create. Starting with damp hair, massage a quarter sized area of mousse into the hair and distribute well. Using a smoothing serum or hairspray, completely cover all the hair and while still damp to touch, use a wide toothed comb to part the hair and comb out only the upper layer of hair for a finished look.

Before anything else, you should know that everyone has their terminal length; the longest your hair will grow. This is determined by individual genetics and varies from one person to the other.
Forget the notion that only expensive vitamins, nutrients and the likes can help you to grow long hair faster. As a matter of fact, all it really does take is time (patience). It is also a question of what not to do rather than what to do.
Now, on with it.
• In order to have healthy long hair, you should get rid of all damaged hair when growing.
• Trim it occasionally (about half inch every three to four months) to get rid of all split-ends etc
• Do not use heated appliances such as hot rollers, blow dryers curling irons, crimpers or flat irons! If you have to use rollers, used the soft or flocked ones.

• Use long-hair friendly products and accessories.
• Avoid salt waters and chlorine.
The above are but several tips to help you grow healthy, long hair in a jiffy. There are many more but the above are some of the more important ones. Good luck!

2009 Summer Fall Trendy Hairstyles
2009 Summer Fall Trendy Hairstyles - Go For Super Cut And Fabulous Shine
It’s easy to find a lot of inspiration for trying one of the trendy hairstyles of 2009, just take a look at your favorite celebrity and you will probably see a super cut, glorious coloring and fabulous shine. More than one celebrity is making fashion waves wearing a daring, razor cut bob, sometimes with contrasting highlights to make the cut really stand out. Of course you have to choose a style that will enhance your facial features and a color that compliments your skin tone, but beyond that the sky is the limit.
We Have To Admit That Paris Hilton Has a Great Taste For Hair Fashion
Celebrities are trend-setters in fashion and hair design is constantly changing as a result. And many times celebrities will modify a hairstyle in a way that turns the fashion world on its head because it looks so great. Using styling techniques like layering, you can add more “oomph” to your look and give your hair a lot of movement. Combining ringlets and straight hair in an up do or a pulled back style can make you look sensational whether you are dressed up for a night on the town or styling casual in jeans. For the latest in trendy hairstyles 2009 for summer, think rich colors; deep chocolate brown, bright auburn and sparkling, champagne blond are super-hot. There are some who say that highlights are ‘out’ this year, but many seem to disagree, so perhaps it’s best to decide what looks best for you. But everyone agrees that healthy, shining hair looks fantastic no matter what hairstyle you wear.
