2010 Pixie Hairstyle

The Pixie Cut has been a favorite since it was introduced to us by the world's fashion gurus, and many celebrities have worn it well.
Halle Berry was a gorgeous example of the Pixie cut in Catwoman and in Swordfish as well. She has a great face for it with her small, feminine features and basically oval face. She has a somewhat large forehead for her face, but it is in perfect balance with her overall oval shape. And she has a wonderful profile as well. All these factors make the Pixie cut ideal for Halle because it accentuates her facial features. It brings out her eyes and cheekbones the most offering her a chance to really show off her perfect features. She looks wonderful in long hair, but there is something about her Pixie cut that really makes her glow!

More recently, if you were watching Dancing With The Stars, Kelly Osbourne also wore a Pixie cut for some of the show. She has a longer chin and generally round face, but somehow when her stylist does her Pixie look (with slightly longer hair than Halle) and pulls the hair away from her face, she really brings out the feminine features of Kelly’s face as well. Kelly had an overall softer and more innocent look about her that has been missing for a long time! Finally we get to see the gorgeous, more upbeat side of Kelly that has been lacking for most of her career. Kelly has become a real fashion success story this year!
