In Style Bangs-Fringe Short Hairstyles 2009, 2010

Latest Trendy Fringe-Bangs Haircut Styles 2009, 2010

The fringe haircut is truly just a haircut that has bangs. Fringe is a much more stylish word for bangs. The fringe haircut enjoyed a lot of popularity back in the 1980’s. Back then, fringe haircuts were curly, frizzed and teased into all sorts of styles. Now, with the help of celebrities such as Kate Moss, the fringe haircut is making a comeback.
Short Fringe Hair For 2010

The conventional fringe haircut is very simple. The bangs are cut straight across just above the eyes and the rest of the hair is straight as well. It’s a very sophisticated look that is sleek and sexy. Modern fringes have much more variation to them. They have been adapted to suit a variety of face shapes and hair lengths. Modern styles range from windswept looking, to unkempt, to even razor cut. Layers are often used to bring more personality into the fringe haircut and using different highlights and colors will allow you to make a statement. Some fringe hairstyles even allow the fringe to go over the hairs. Your bangs are the major part of the fringe look. While layers and the rest of your hair are important, it’s your bangs that define your look. You can make them asymmetrical or choppy for a wild child look or you can keep them straight and soft for a very chic feminine look. You don’t have to wear your fringe haircut the exact same way day after day. Change the parting of your bangs for a new look whenever you want. Use some styling gel to give them curls and curves. The fringe is a great look that is easy to manage, easy to dress up or down, and looks great on any woman.

2009, 2010 Hair Care Tips for Men

2009, 2010 Hair Care Tips for Men

Hair care is not just for the girls! Men who want to look great need to take care of their hair too. The following are a few tips for men who want to look their best.
2010 Hair Care Tips for Men

Towel rubbing is a No-No
Rubbing your hair with a towel is the worst way you can dry your hair. If you can, just pat your hair with a towel and let it dry naturally. If you must use a towel to actually dry your hair, start and the roots and run the towel over your hair in the direction your hair grows. It takes longer, but you’ll hair will thank you.

Stay Cool
Extremely hot showers are great for aching muscles. But your hair hates them. Very hot water will strip all of the essential oils out of your hair. So if you like hot showers, but your hair is always dry, this is why.

Stay Away from Chemicals
Try not to overdo it on the perms and hair colors. These damage your hair. Also be aware of what styling products you use. The shorter your hair is, the less products you need (you don’t need any for very short hair) so make sure what you’re using is what you really need.

Conditioner is Your Friend
Conditioner isn’t just a girl thing. Men should use a good shampoo and conditioner that is made for their hair type. Also remember that you don’t have to shampoo your hair every single day; a good rinse or conditioning is just fine. Unless of course you’re sweaty from a construction job or working out; then shampoo to get rid of the grime.

Try these tips and you’ll have hair looking as good as any woman’s in no time. Remember: great looking hair starts with a great haircut, so make sure to see your stylist for a new look that’s just for you.

Pixie cuts
work particularly well for Asian women since they naturally tend to have straight, sleek hair. A pixie cut will also enhance the fine features and large eyes of these women. A pixie cut ranges in length from half an inch to three inches, depending on the area and the personal style of the wearer. Pixie cuts are very easy to care for; some of them are short enough that all that needs to be done is just running your fingers through your hair. Some Asian women like to add a bit of color in the form of highlights; it’s not often you see someone completely dye their hair. Highlighting ranges from some subtle highlights that match their natural black color, to bright colors such as blues and pinks. It all depends on the woman.
A pixie cut stops at or just below the nape of the neck. It has many layers of varying lengths. The hair is shaped around the ears and left a little bit longer in the front of the ears to frame the face. The bangs are cut in a fringe that can be straight across or you can vary the length of your bangs and have peek-a-boo bangs. You also could try sweeping your bangs across your forehead, a look that helps bring out your eyes. Another version is to allow your bangs to go down over your eyes, but use a bit of gel to curl them up and out; it’s a bold look. Pixie cuts are surprisingly versatile and easy to adapt to each woman’s individual style. Talk to your stylist about what would be right for you, go for layers for added definition and personality, and try some highlights if you really want something new and different.

Kylie Minogue's Makeup, Fashion, Hairstyle 2009, 2010

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue was in Hertfordshire recently. She showed up at The Grove in Chandler’s Cross in order to promote her new line of bed linen. Kylie took the silver look that has been popular with a lot of stars lately and made it all her own.
Kylie wore her makeup beautifully. She wore a pink lipstick perfect for her coloring, and lined her eyes in silver. She also wore a silver eyeshadow. Unlike some of the stars who’ve done the same thing, Kylie looked prim and pretty.
Kylie Minogue - Always Looking Perfect!

She used her hairstyle to bring her dress down a notch while still looking proper for the event. She wore her hair in a loose, high ponytail with the bangs free. She curled the ends of her hair and bangs outward, which was a nice look. Her bangs framed her face and helped to bring out her cheekbones. Kylie wore a sleeveless silver dress that had designs similar to a mermaid’s tail. The silver swirled all over the dress and was a gorgeous design; it wasn’t boring and wasn’t too busy. The top of the dress was lined in silvery lines that went straight around; the top was cut in a heart shape that was very flattering to the singer. She wore delicate, silver heels that strapped onto her feet and looked feminine and comfortable. The only accessories she wore were a silvery ring and bright diamond stud earrings. Kylie looked beautiful promoting her new bed linen and she appeared confident as she posed for some pictures.

Hair Products - Key For Fall, Winter Short Haircuts

Hair Products are Key for Fall’s and Winter's 2010 Short Hair Cuts

If you’ve been following the trends for fall fashion, you’ll see that short hair is in. It is pretty important to make sure that you get a great cut so that you avoid the frumpy, chopped-off look. Everyone looks great when they walk out of the salon, but what happens on day two of your new cut? Sometimes you aren’t looking as good as you did when you walked out of the salon. The key to keeping that salon look is the right styling, but you’ve got to have the right tools to keep that cut looking its best.

Hair products are so important to great looking hairstyle. Gels give edges to angles and spikes where they are needed. Products that relax curly hair give the straightness that the trendy haircuts need. Mousses can give volume to hair that loves to stay flat. Products that protect against heat are so important if you are straightening your hair every day.

Speaking of straightening, a good iron is essential. You need to make sure that the iron is ceramic and the barrel is wide. The ceramic will protect your hair against damage and the wide barrel will help you to avoid getting “bends” in your hair when you are straightening it.

Do some research, ask your stylists, and don’t be afraid to invest in good hair products this fall. Good hair can make or break your style, so don’t skimp on the tools that will help to make your hair look good each and every day.

Trendy Short Haircuts for Guys 2009, 2010

Trendy Short Haircuts for Guys 2009, 2010

If you are a guy and need to update your look, you should really consider cutting off those beautiful locks you’ve worked so hard to grow. Sad, but true. Short is in, guys. Get used to it. Now, before you get scissor happy, slow down. The hottest haircuts for guys involve some length in the front. Your hair should be parted on the side, and cut in an asymmetrical way so that much of your front hair hangs a few inches below your eyelids. This is the cool look for guys this fall. Let’s talk about the back. The back should be short and cut with lots and lots of angles. You are going to have to use some gel to get these angles to stick out, which is the trendy look this fall.
On top, you are going to have to make sure that it blends well between the front and back hair. Only a good stylist can make this happen for you. Try to find another guy’s hair you like and ask where he got his hair cut. You are going to have to work at styling your hair each day. This shouldn’t be too hard if you are already used to dealing with long hair. Even though it is girly, a straightening iron will be your friend. You need to use it on that front hair to get the hot look. Also, make sure that you use conditioner every time you wash your hair to minimize the damage done by the iron.
